a test amidst the festivities

well today was my last exam which i expected to be easy but instead did so absolutely crappily in because i didn't know small details about when each leader was executed. during 19th century and during ww2 is like way too close for me to differentiate. = (

admittedly, i wasn't really studying ON THE DAY for the test so i thought the whole studying before the last minute was a good thing. obviously not. i am going to revert back to panicked last minutes running on adrenaline and doing the exam. HMPH. my short term memory appears to serve me much better.

NOW. onto brighter happenings..such as the GAIDAI SAI (Kansai gaidai festival ) !! there was plenty of food from yakisoba, yakiudon, TEMPURA ICECREAM (in caramel choco and strawberry flavours) tori nabe and a myriad of other yummy japanese food at cheap prices ranging from 100 to 250 yen.

the highlight of the festival was the cheerleading squad consisting of all girls. they singlehandedly manage to get a girl standing on their shoulders without struggling ridiculously and did all sorts of mid air flips and twists . it was absolutely amazing for a squad with 0 guys.

later of course, being the stupid gaijins we are, orhan decided that andrew should stand on his shoulders so with the help of like 7 ppl, we got him up there, and took a foto alongside the cheerleaders (foto to be uploaded soon !!! )
(tb continued)
