studying for last midsem

i have the whole house to myself on this lovely public holiday to study so i'm rather happy.

i love to have alone time esp after periods of mobbing around in massive gaijin groups. HAHAHA ; not that i dont love that either..

its sunny and nice and there's fresh air pouring in;; + i'm somewhat interested in what i'm reading too !

i guess the day at starbucks studying was quite good because i realised this course is actually rather interesting !

Yesterday, i went to Watami Izakaya at Korien with my friends from seminar house 2 and of course my trusty australian rohan and dave : ) it was good fun but the drinks were on the pricey side.. 523yen! (about 7 dollars?)
I think I have like obsessive compulsive money spending disorder...where i just have to spend money whenever the opportunity arises. walking into a konbini and not buying anything makes me uneasy. LOOL.
to end the night, i was delighted by Rohan's omiyage from australia..: ARNOTTS MINT SLICE. OmG yum, i will eat them well! THANK YOU ROHAN-SAN !!

okay! now to enjoy this chillaxed day at home ... i see an instant okonomiyaki for lunch and 2 rice balls with some tsukemono .

i hope my host family next semester will be just as lovely if not better.

there are 2 reasons i would like to move out
1) the dog's hair gets ALL OVER MY CLOTHES. he's a big golden retriever too..and they dont really clean it properly so i get allergic reactions (not massive ones..just itchy and red eyes)
2) its always good to get to know a new area, try new foods, and i guess i can go thru the excitment and anticipation of new ppl all over again ? hahaa~

its definitely not because i dont like my host family... i really want a host sister though..! but come what may, wherever God puts me I will go.

Can't wait to make holiday plans after this midsems.. OH EXCITEMENT!
